Is it more convenient to play with the FT36 in comparison to the Floyd Rose (Original, Special or Licensed, for example)?
Yes, it is. The flat top surface (one of the unique features of the FT36) allows for exceptional convenience to guitar players. The solution of sinking fine tuning screws into the saddle bodies and multilayer construction, allowing very comfortable guitar playing without any fear that the strings will go out of tune. The tremolo profile and the flat top, make the FT36 in the best solution especially for the players who often use both playing techniques - vibrato and palm muting.
Can I buy a Left Handed FT36 tremolo or an LN6 locking nut?
Yes, you can buy a left handed FT36 tremolo or an LN6 locking nut after you chose left handed orientation from the dropping menu of the product’s options field.
Can I order an FT36, or some other products with different color or surface type?
No, at the present moment, but you can choose four finished colors (natural stainless steel, chrome, gold or black) and two surface types (fine satin or mirror polished).
Do I need to additionally buy an LN6 to an FT36 set in order to have string double locking?
No, you don’t have to buy additional LN6 set in order to have a fully functional double locking system for your guitar. The FT36 set includes the LN6 set, but you have to choose the proper (or correct) option for your guitar from four types of locking nuts (R2, L2, R3 or L3). Before you order the FT36, please read carefully read the information given on the TECHNICAL DATA Tab related to the LN6 dimensions.
Can I easily replace the Locking Nut (with broken threads, for example) of my guitar with an LN6 and why?
Yes, you can. The LN6 locking nuts are produced with the same dimensions as the standard Floyd Rose / Shaller locking nuts R2/L2 and R3/L3. But there are a few very important differences. One of them is that the most of the wide-spread locking nuts on the global market are produced from cheap and weak non-ferrous alloys by Die Casting technology and the result is broken threads underneath the String Clamps after few months (in some cases even weeks). There are a lot of very expensive guitars equipped with these unreliable not only nuts, but full tremolo sets. Our solution for achieving high reliability and quality is to produce every part of our unique locking nuts LN6 from real Stainless Steel bars, sheets and wires by using Cold machining processes (CNC milling and turning, for example).
Is it necessary to buy an additional higher Sustain Block for FT36, if the body of my guitar is thicker and I used Floyd Rose tremolo with additional higher block (Height-37mm, for example)?
No, you don’t need to. Our FT36 tremolo set is equipped with an additional Retainer Plate (please, see the FT36 User manual and pdf schemes) that allows to increase the sustain block height with an additional 3mm (from 35mm to 38mm) using the same block. In this case you don’t have to buy an additional Sustain Block. In some very rare cases you can add an additional second Retainer Plate with two 16mm screws, if you want (you can order them only if you make a special note in the Additional Notes field in Your order form).
Can I make fine tuning with FT36 after all of the strings are locked on both sides?
Yes, you can. The FT36 is a fully functional double locking tremolo system and you can make all of the known standard adjustments, very easy and intuitive. Our special fine tuning screws are sunk into the body of the Rear String Saddle. You can make a fine tuning only by turning the screws, using a Guitar Pick, Adjustment Screw, Key wrench or just a finger nail, if you want to.
Can I easily install the FT36 into my guitar, originally equipped with a Floyd Rose tremolo (Original, Special or Licensed)?
Yes, you can. The FT36 is a fully functional retrofit of the Floyd Rose tremolo system (Original, Special or Licenced). If you can install or uninstall the Floyd, you can also install the FT36. There are a few differences, but as a whole the process of the replacement is the same as with the Floyd Rose. Before you begin the removal of your present tremolo, it is strongly recommended to read the FT36 User Manual instructions!
Can I easily install the FT36 into my Ibanez RG because the original Pivot Studs are different?
Yes, you can. The FT36 is also a fully functional retrofit of the Ibanez (Lo-Pro Edge, Low Pro Edge, Pro Edge II, Edge III, Edge Zero II) double locking tremolo systems. Please note that the FT36 does not retrofit the Ibanez tremolos equipped with ZPS or ZPS3Fe (Zero Point System). There is no problem to install the FT36 into Ibanez guitar, but you have to use the original Ibanez Pivot Studs (M6x1), because our Studs are similar to Floyd Rose (M7x0.5). There are also a few differences, but as a whole the process of the replacement is the same as the Ibanez tremolos. Before you begin removing of your present tremolo, it is strongly recommended to read the FT36 User Manual instructions!
Can I install the FT36 into my guitar equipped with non-locking tremolo (Ibanez GRG (GIO models) with FAT10 tremolo systems, for example)?
Yes, you can, but there are some restrictions. The FT36 is also a fully functional double-locking retrofit of the Ibanez equipped with non-locking (FAT 10) tremolo systems with 74.2mm distance between Pivot Studs. Also you have to remove the old plastic nut and replace it with FT36 locking nut. It is very easy to fix the new locking nut by using the two wood screws (included in the FT36 set) from the top of the nut base.
Is it necessary to buy an additional Intonation Adjuster (it is unavoidable for Floyd Rose tremolos) to make Intonation Adjustment with FT36?
No, it is not necessary. The FT36 set is equipped with a special Adjustment Screw, which helps you make fast and very precise Intonation Adjustments to all the strings. Also the multilayer construction of the saddles allows you to lock the saddles by using the wrench key, without touching and bending the strings. For more information you can read the chapter Intonation Adjustment in the FT36 User Manual.
Are all parts of the FT36 inoxidable and non-magnetic?
Yes, as we declare on our website, and all of the packaging boxes, all parts, not only of FT36, but also of all other products, are Inoxidable and Non-magnetic. All parts are produced from special hard and non-magnetic Stainless Steel, which leads to increased durability, sustain and longevity, also to lack of the magnetic interference.
Are all parts of the FT36 produced from solid bars, sheets and wires by using cold machining processes, not by Die Casting?
Yes, they are. Our solution for achieving high reliability, quality and longevity is to produce every part of our unique products from real Stainless Steel bars, sheets and wires by using Cold machining processes (CNC milling and turning, for example). Using cheap and weak non-ferrous metal alloys (based on zinc, aluminium, magnesium, copper, lead and tin) and Die Casting technology leads to very low manufacturing cost and mass production, but when it comes to the SOUND QUALITY and DURABILITY, this is not the proper solution.
